About me

I was born in 1983 in Jesi, Italy.

After living a happy childhood in the countryside, then took a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Marche’s Polytechnical University in 2007.

I moved to Trondheim in 2008 to pursuit my dream of taking a PhD in wind energy, which actually happened in 2014.

I did a first postdoc at the Institute of Energy Technology on hydrodynamic force modeling on offshore wind turbine. I then moved to DTU for a second postdoc on ultimate loads from extreme waves.

I have been appointed Assistant Professor in Offshore Wind Energy since November 2020, and this is my current role.

In this website, I will publish updated about my scientific activity and links to my pre-prints and post-prints.
